The Practice provides a full range of general medical services and also offers the following by appointment:
• Contraception advice
• Childhood surveillance
• Cervical screening
Community Services
Other community services currently available at the practice include:
• Childhood immunisation and vaccinations – all immunisations are carried out by the Fife Immunisation Team and patients will be contacted directly by them
• Midwife appointments – booked through the midwife service

Maternity Booking Line
You can book your appointment directly to see your midwife if you are newly pregnant. Please call 01592 643355 ext 28374 (mon-fri, 10-12), or via the website here
Musculoskeletal Help Line
If you have a musculoskeletal problem, you can self-refer by viewing this website here
Prostate Health and PSA Testing
If you are over fifty or have concerns about prostate health, you can speak with a GP about whether a PSA blood test is right for you. The test is not routinely offered, but men can request it after discussing the benefits and limitations. For more guidance, please see the official GOV UK information. View Here

The Well
The Well is a free service which supports anyone in Fife aged 16 and over. It is a place where you can drop in, both in your community and online, to find information and receive general advice to help you stay well and independent within your local area.

The Well allows you to speak to Health and Social Care professionals and discuss what’s important to you regarding your health and wellbeing. You’ll be directed to support that best meets your needs. Our friendly, well informed staff will help you access a wide range of information that promotes your health and wellbeing.
The Wells bring together people who know all about health and social care in your community such as Local Area Coordinators, Social Work, Social Security Benefits and a range of other community, health and social care staff. At the Wells you can have a good conversation about what matters to you whether that’s living a healthier lifestyle, finding meaningful activities or living independently in your own home.
We can help you:

- Apply for a community alarm
- Get support if you are feeling lonely or isolated
- Support your physical and mental health
- Complete different forms

Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be requested in the following ways:
- Automated Prescription Line: Call 01333 350241, select option 3, and leave a message. Please include your full name, date of birth, telephone number, chosen pharmacy, and the medication you require.
- Community Pharmacy: You can also order your repeat prescription directly through your nominated community pharmacy.
Once requested, patients can collect their completed prescription from their chosen pharmacy within 7 working days.
Sick/Fit Note
If you feel you require time off work you are able to contact the reception and request a sick line. Please give brief details to your problem and depending on the information provided and the available information in your notes, you may or may not need to see a clinician.
Private Sector
East Fife are happy to support patients requesting health care via the private sector however, although we provide all NHS service we are not under any obligation to follow any requests from the private health providers.
